It’s not all about what you cut out when you are losing weight, it’s often about what you decide to keep doing. Add vegetables, pulses, herbs and spices and snack on fruit, and you will find your food is visually more appealing AND tastes just like the sun ☀️ It’s all about diversity and colour. This does not mean that a plate full of smarties is healthy of course. But generally the more colourful your plate is, the more vitamins, nutrients, fibre and flavour your diet will have.

Tempting and Tasty:

Fad diets are not sustainable for several reasons, and one in particular; not enjoying the food you HAVE to eat. If you enjoy what you eat, you will probably keep eating it and want to share this pleasure with others. Unlike Fad diets, Mediterranean meals can be enjoyed by all and are meant to be shared. So keep hosting dinner parties where you serve up delicious Mediterranean food. Keep making lunches that have you thinking about them all morning. Keep making meals that make your proud to cook and serve to the rest of the family.

If you are loving what you eat, and it’s also making you look and feel better, then it’s a lot more likely to keep you sticking to your goals. And if you can share it with your friends and family, instead of eying up jealously their food, then as well as keeping you motivated, it can also inspire them to join you on your journey.
