It’s not all about what you cut out when you are losing weight, it’s often about what you decide to keep doing. If you want to keep the weight off sustainably for the long term, it’s about changing other aspects of your life and not about cutting out everything for a short period of time. So bring on the wholegrain breads, grains and pulses, fill your plate with vegetables and use healthy olive oil to cook Avoid all the white carbs, sugary drinks and processed products that bring no added value to your diet other than to slowing you down. What is processed? Everything that comes in layers of packaging and can be eaten weeks/months away from the right now.

Think about it, if you’re filling your plate with white carbs, processed meats and fried food, your plate will be a boring 😐 and unhealthy colour. Add vegetables, pulses, herbs and spices and snack on fruit, and you will find your food is visually more appealing AND tastes just like the sun ☀️ It’s all about diversity and colour. This does not mean that a plate full of smarties is healthy of course. But generally the more colourful your plate is, the more vitamins, nutrients, fibre and flavour your diet will have.

Tempting and Tasty:

Fad diets are not sustainable for several reasons, and one in particular; not enjoying the food you HAVE to eat. If you enjoy what you eat, you will probably keep eating it and want to share this pleasure with others. Unlike Fad diets, Mediterranean meals can be enjoyed by all and are meant to be shared. So keep hosting dinner parties where you serve up delicious Mediterranean food. Keep making lunches that have you thinking about them all morning. Keep making meals that make your proud to cook and serve to the rest of the family.

If you are loving what you eat, and it’s also making you look and feel better, then it’s a lot more likely to keep you sticking to your goals. And if you can share it with your friends and family, instead of eying up jealously their food, then as well as keeping you motivated, it can also inspire them to join you on your journey.

January lots of people start a new diet until…? comin a next celebration time Valentine’s day in February, Easter is moving, Mothering Sunday between as (in UK), and a next new diet is starting before summer holiday’s time, and a next new diet after summer because everyone want good looking for Christmas and New Year, and own Birthday, this is a never ending circle if you just starting and stoping your new healthy lifestyle. You can make healthy things happen if you know why are you want change and planning your life. Yes this is take a time achieving your new target, just remember your present didn’t happened overnight, you just couldn’t take a notice and nobody warned you, about your shape, health and weight change – this is can be harsh and painful, but sometimes need that help realizing which way you are on. 30 day until Christmas, time to make yourself ready for without guilt your life. Organize what to do for Christmas, keep yourself happy, relaxed enjoying your time. Christmas time we spend more time together with our family, friends and someone working, more eating-drinking that’s time is normal after your Christmas your feeling could be different. Planning – where are you and what’s time going to. That’s time this year we couldn’t think about our `normal lifestyle` – just remember you still can use the basic, portion control, eat when you are feel hunger, and drink regularly water, eat fruits and vegetables, Feel the Difference 🙂

when your loved ones = another half / family member / best friends start dieting? Accept and respect her/his choice! This is not an easy, because you don’t know what is it behind her/him choice.
